Vegetable Samosas
Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package phyllo dough or samosa wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, peas, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, garam masala, and turmeric.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut phyllo dough or samosa wrappers into strips. Place a spoonful of filling at one end and fold into a triangle.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry samosas until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
