Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells
Ingredients
- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the shells and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
