Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the shells and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
